Swisse Balance Range FAQ

What is needed in a skincare routine for oily skin?

For oily skin types, a skincare routine might include an AM and PM cleanser and moisturiser, exfoliation 1-2 times a week, and in times of need, a pimple spot treatment. Dermatologist advised or co-developed ranges, or ranges formulated for breakout prone skin are ideal to target your personal skin concerns. As with any routine, we suggest starting simple, patch testing new products and gradually building up your team of support products.

How do you start a skin care routine for beginners?

When starting your skincare routine, the key is to start simple and build up. Don't rush to complete your skincare routine, choose the products right for your skin needs and goals and be open to seeking support from professionals, like our collaborator, dermatologist Dr. Alice Rudd.

What should be my skincare routine?

Your skincare routine needs will differ from the next person, start by getting to know your skin, what's it like? How does it behave? Set a skincare goal and work from there. Begin with the powerhouse duo, a cleanser and moisturiser and always include an SPF. Find the products that suit your skincare needs and build up. Add in a serum, and exfoliator, a toner, products that can support hydration, pigmentation and so on.
