It’s important to eat a healthy, balanced diet that will compliment your training program, while also limiting your kilojoule intake. Healthy snacks are a great way to give the body energy between meals, without increasing kilojoules. A high protein drink can be a great snack replacement, as well as:

  • Natural yoghurt and fruit
  • Wholegrain crispbread or wrap with boiled egg, canned fish or lean meat
  • Smoothie made with almond milk, fruit and yoghurt
  • Tuna and bean mix with corn
  • Cottage cheese with pineapple
  • Hummus with raw vegetables
  • Sliced apple spread with nut butter
  • Miso marinated tofu and vegetable skewers
