Key Ingredients

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)

Argan oil is rich in essential fatty acids such as oleic and linoleic acid, which have excellent penetration into the skin and greatly improve the skin’s barrier function, vital for maintaining hydration and the health of the skin.

VITAMIN E

Argan oil is almost twice as rich in tocopherol (vitamin E) as olive oil. The main form of tocopherol is gamma-tocopherol, which has the most potent anti-inflammatory properties of all the other forms of tocopherol. It also has greater penetration into the skin than other tocopherols, where it can effectively work to protect the skin from free radicals.

Squalene and Sterols

A combination of natural saturated fats that act as a protective, occlusive layer on the skin, preventing the loss of vital moisture from the skin and protecting the skin from the penetration of irritants.

Carotenoids

The skin naturally contains carotenoids that protect cells from oxidation (free radical damage), however carotenoids are easily degraded from stress factors such as UV exposure, environmental pollution and illness. Argan oil is a source of carotenoids, which can quickly restore the antioxidant capabilities of the skin.

Essential Oils (Orange, May Chang, Palmarosa, Rose Geranium)

An uplifting essential oil blend that also contains antimicrobial properties.
