Marketing Intern

What attracted you to the internship with the H&H Group?

As part of my Applied Marketing degree at RMIT, I have the responsibility within my third year of finding a 12-month supervised work placement. When I saw that H&H Group/Swisse had applications open, I was eager to apply for a marketing internship in a globally recognised brand that has a passion for health and wellness. Another aspect that appealed to me was the company’s exciting culture. I knew I could learn and develop to my full potential in a fast-paced environment that celebrated employee growth, opportunity and new ideas.

What skills have you learnt and developed during your internship?

Throughout my internship, I have had the opportunity to partake in four 3-month rotations in different marketing departments such as Category and insights, Product Artwork, Portfolio and Shopper Marketing. Being able to work across multiple teams has allowed me to actively contribute to the brand planning process and understand how a product is born from the inception of an idea all the way through to shelf. In this process, I have learnt how to leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to solve business problems, manage workflows, track projects and liaise with several stakeholders and departments.

What has been your most memorable moment during your time with the Group?

The whole program has been a memorable one so far. However, if I had to pick one, it would be the social connections I’ve made during my time with the Group. I have met so many amazing people, whether it be working with my team every day or working with others whilst giving back to the community, everyone here, in particular my team members, have taught me so much and given me such great advice that I’ll be able to use throughout my career.
